After drinking the tea that would forever change her path, Adelaide ran from the
physics view. Peering through her cloudy window, the physic
desperately hoped she would be alright. Adelaide didn't know she had
forever altered her life as well as other lives to come. As she raced
through the muddy forest in search of him, her heart fluttered
quickly and her breath quickened. The physic sighed and turned back
to her cottage to wait, hoping she hadn't made a terrible mistake.
Earlier
that day was average and no different from any other day that
Adelaide had had in the last eighteen years.
A
whisper of wind rustled the leaves on the trees while the sun sparkled off
the drops of dew. It peaked through the spider webbed branches into
the window. Where she still slept. A bird began its sweet lilting
song, lulling her further out of a dream and into the waking world.
Visions
of him had encompassed her thoughts throughout the night. Teasing her
into thinking that maybe he would love her.
However,
in her dreams Adelaide was beautiful.
